The Minister of Science and Higher Education has announced the results of the 2022–2025 evaluation of the quality of scientific activity. Our university’s research is coordinated by the Research Federation of WSB-DSW Merito Universities, which supports interdisciplinary collaboration across six universities: WSB Merito University in Gdańsk, WSB Merito University in Poznań, WSB Merito University in Toruń, WSB Merito University in Wrocław, DSW Ideis University, Civitas University.
As part of the evaluation process, we confirmed our rights in 11 scientific disciplines, in 7 of which we were awarded scientific category A.
The following disciplines received category A:
- Economics and Finance
- Management and Quality Studies
- Pedagogy
- Linguistics
- Security Studies
- Psychology
- Political Science and Public Administration
The following disciplines received category B+:
- Social Communication and Media Studies
- Sociology
The following disciplines received category B:
- Physical Culture Studies
- Health Sciences
The ministerial assessment is a multidimensional process, which examines not only the volume but also the quality of the activities carried out.
The high scores achieved by our university’s researchers provide our students with a guarantee of the quality of education, access to up-to-date, continuously developing knowledge, and recognised experts in many disciplines.
